Debra Kayes

I spent four years as Assistant Professor at Hastings College. It was a great time, in particular because of the dedicated and creative students, the focus on teaching, and the small but artistic community of Hastings. I taught all levels of painting, basic design for foundations, and various art history and contemporary art classes. I sat on various committees, did curriculum development, and was the Chair of the Fine Arts Division, which included Theater, Music, and Fine Arts. I left my position to pursue opportunities in Chicago, including my post-bac degree in Graphic Design.
